Golden success for Greek shooter Korakaki at Baku World Championships

Greek Olympian Korakaki won the gold medal in the 10-meter air pistol event at the Baku World Championships. After finishing fourth in the qualifiers, she had a flawless final, leading the entire time.

She secured the podium with a 1.7 point lead over Ukraine’s Kostevych and 2.7 over India’s Bhaker, who came in third. Korakaki and Kostevych were tied for the last shots for the gold medal, with the Greek champion taking advantage of her 1.8 point lead and ascending to the top of the podium with a score of 241.3 compared to the Ukrainian’s 240.6.
