A total of 730,000 households will be supported for two months as part of the targeted financial aid announced by the Minister of Environment and Energy Theodoros Skylakakis, government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis said on Monday during a press briefing.
He underlined that with these aids 100% of the increased costs are absorbed, while the total value of the financial support for the electricity provided to the households in question exceeds 8.6 million euros and is provided by the Energy Transition Fund.
Marinakis also referred to Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ visit to Serbia and his greeting to a business forum. “The prime minister emphasized Greece’s long-standing support for Serbia’s European perspective as well as its will to strengthen and deepen bilateral cooperation in synergies with energy, infrastructure and transport,” he said.
In conclusion, the government spokesperson made a reference to the draft law of the Ministry of Justice regarding the changes to the Criminal Code
