Three-star hotels showed the highest average occupancy for the six-month period at 83%, followed by four-star hotels at 75.2% and five-star hotels at 69.6%. This relatively low average occupancy, despite good arrival numbers, is mainly attributed to the increase in available beds in Athens in non-hotel accomodation. According to data from both the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels and the Institute of Greek Tourism Confederation for 2023, Athens had 34,953 hotel beds and an average of 52,500 beds in short-term rental accommodations.

Meanwhile, the Average Daily Rate (ADR) reached 143.03 euros, up 10.7% compared to the same period in 2023.
