Miltos Tentoglou: Direct Qualification to Final with One Jump

Miltos Tentoglou is fully prepared to write his name in Olympic history The Greek Olympian from Tokyo (2021) qualified with remarkable ease for the final of the long jump at the Olympic Games in Paris, needing just one jump of eight meters and 32 centimeters in the qualifiers to surpass the qualifying limit of 8.15 meters.

It is noted that if Tentoglou wins the gold medal in the upcoming final on next Tuesday (6/8, 21:15), he will become only the second athlete in history to win two consecutive Olympic gold medals, after the unparalleled American, Carl Lewis, who stood at the top of the podium in four (!) consecutive Olympic Games (1984, 1988, 1992, 1996).
