Giannis Antetokounmpo: Wedding at Sunset in Costa Navarino – All the Details

Preparations are in full swing for Giannis Antetokounmpo’s wedding to his beloved Mariah Riddlesprigger at Costa Navarino.

After a decade-long relationship and three children – 4-year-old Liam, 3-year-old Maverick, and 11-month-old Eva – Giannis and Mariah are ready to exchange vows of eternal faith and love against the backdrop of the idyllic sunset in a ceremony promised to be magical.

The Wedding at Sunset

According to reports, the wedding ceremony will take place between 18:00 and 19:00, a time chosen carefully so that the sunset provides a unique atmosphere as the couple exchanges vows. After the ceremony, a reception will follow to celebrate their love in the presence of all their distinguished guests.

By 15:00, Giannis Antetokounmpo began his wedding preparations with his brothers, close friends, and teammates from the Milwaukee Bucks.

Last week, the Antetokounmpo brothers were seen together in Mykonos for a short vacation that resembled a bachelor party.

The Groom’s Suit

Giannis Antetokounmpo prepared for the wedding ceremony with designer and personal friend George Papadogamvros, who designed the groom’s suit, as well as suits for his brothers and the white outfits worn by guests at the pre-wedding event.

After 18:00, Giannis and Mariah will head to Navarino Hills, a picturesque area of Costa Navarino with golf courses overlooking the Bay of Navarino, where they will exchange vows in a specially arranged setting.

The reception will follow, with all the distinguished guests, including LeBron James, Serena Williams, and Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and his wife, Mareva Grabowski.

Privacy

Privacy demands are extremely high, with measures ensuring that no one can approach the venue except for guests and reception staff. Reportedly, the only way to get close is via drone.

Notably, everyone working for the wedding has signed a confidentiality agreement to ensure the couple’s privacy is fully protected.

The Menu and VVIPs

The menu chosen by the couple offers a rather broad range of dishes, from refined versions of traditional American burgers to sophisticated modern Greek cuisine.

It’s also been decided that Giannis Antetokounmpo will launch the first wine resulting from his partnership through his investment company Ante Inc. with Greek wineries, in which he holds a 10% share since 2022. This is a rosé label that will bear Mariah Riddlesprigger’s name, and in addition to the standard 750 ml bottle, it will also be available in magnum edition. Wedding guests will have the privilege of tasting the first vintage from the “Greek Freak.”

Among the 150-200 guests, most of whom arrived at Costa Navarino on private flights, are 30 very important people (VVIPs), including Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and his wife, as well as personalities like LeBron James and Serena Williams.

Twelve of the guests are staying at the luxurious W Hotel, while the rest are at The Romanos at Costa Navarino, ready to partake in a night promising to be unforgettable.
