Michael Jordan: The NBA Legend’s Yacht in Crete
The MBRACE, the luxury yacht of NBA legend Michael Jordan, has been anchored in Souda since Friday. Although it remains unknown whether Jordan himself is in Crete, the ultra-luxurious yacht, flying the Cayman Islands flag, was built in 2018 at a cost of $115 million.

Before arriving in Crete, the yacht was also spotted in Naxos, without it being confirmed if the world-renowned basketball player was on board.

The former Chicago Bulls leader acquired the MBRACE in 2022, adding it to his impressive list of personal assets.

The first owner of MBRACE was Sir Lloyd Marshall Dorfman, a British entrepreneur and philanthropist who founded Travelex. Dorfman paid $115 million to acquire the yacht (originally named Elandess), and its annual maintenance costs reach $10 million (!!).

The interior of the yacht, designed by Harrison Eidsgaard, is made of aluminum. The yacht can accommodate 12 guests and a crew of 24.

The former NBA champion owns at least three multi-million dollar yachts, including an $80 million yacht named “Joy,” another one called “Mr. Terrible” valued at $21 million, and a smaller one named “Catch-23.”
