Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis during his visit to Rethymno, expressed his satisfaction with the communication he had with stakeholders and with the presentation made by the ministers for the development projects implemented in the region.

Speaking about the Northern Road Axis of Crete,Mitsotakissaid that it is a project with great complexity.“Currently there are open construction sites between Chania and Hersonissos in Heraklion. He stressed that in the coming months the Chania-Heraklion-Hersonissos connection will be signed.”

Responding to those who ask, as he said, whetherelectionsare imminent, due to the wide presentation of the projects, he clarified that these will take place in the spring of 2027.
