Good-neighborliness and Cooperation during the EU-Western Balkans summit in Brussels on Wednesday.

Mickoski met briefly with Bulgarian caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev, arguing that bilateral discussions on identity issues were emotionally charged and unproductive. He insisted on a “correct” reading of the treaties, claiming they obligate both Greece and Bulgaria to provide unconditional support to North Macedonia’s EU accession. He further emphasized that the treaty with Bulgaria does not necessitate constitutional amendments from North Macedonia.
