Adonis Georgiades: Easy access to EOPYY pharmacies through a special website [vid,pics]

This is the End to the long hours of suffering in the queues of pharmacies of EOPYY through a new special application, as Adonis Georgiades informs.

In order to facilitate access to the organization’s pharmacies, the Minister of Health proceeded, among other things, to the creation of a pioneering service for Greek standards, which comes to facilitate information and electronic ticketing, in order to better serve all citizens.

Specifically, beneficiaries, on the day they wish to visit one of the EOPYY pharmacies, can find the pharmacy that has the necessary medicine through the website https://eticket.eopyy.gov.gr. After selecting the appropriate pharmacy, they have the option of selecting the “Ticket Issuance”, thus completing the process for obtaining the ticket electronically, which ensures their best service.

It is noted that this measure of the Ministry of Health is added to a chain of measures taken by Adonis Georgiades, these days, for the improved operation of EOPPY pharmacies.

We recall that the Minister of Health is proceeding to the immediate recruitment of 20 pharmacists to support  the pharmacies of EOPYY, which are facing difficulties, and to speed up the service to patients.

At the same time, Adonis Georgiades is moving to other hubs 1A drugs which are for hospital use, so that the execution of these prescriptions, which are of mass production and great in number, do not coincide with the people waiting in line; this is expected to reduce the traffic in the large pharmacies of EOPYY by 10%

At the same time, an agreement was reached between industry, EOPYY and pharmacies on a general outline of how a part of the prescriptions filled by EOPYY pharmacies – if the patient so wishes – could be transferred to private pharmacies.

In a post of the Minister of Health on social media this evening, the following is mentioned: “In order to facilitate access to the pharmacies of EOPYY, a service has been implemented that allows information and electronic ticketing, aiming to better serve all citizens. The beneficiaries, on the day they wish to visit one of the EOPYY pharmacies, can search for the pharmacy offering the required medicine through the website https://eticket.eopyy.gov.gr. Once they have selected the appropriate pharmacy, they can proceed to the “Issue Ticket” option, thus completing the process of obtaining the ticket electronically, which ensures they receive the best service.

The service does not require passwords and provides the following features:

-Display on the map of the pharmacies where the product that the insured person has searched/chosen is available

-Display of the medications available per pharmacy when not all are available at a single point of service

-Display of the number of tickets waiting in pharmacies, as well as the estimated waiting time at that particular moment

-Ability to select a pharmacy and issue a ticket

-Download ticket in PDF format and printing option

-Ability to monitor in real time the progress of the priority queueing at the pharmacy, through the code included in the ticket

Soon, access to the app will become even easier, as a specially designed mobile version will be released.”
