Student protests are set to take place across Greece on Friday, calling for justice over the Tempe railway disaster.

Student associations from across the country have organized demonstrations under the central slogan, “I have no more oxygen.”

In Athens, a major student rally is scheduled for 12 p.m. at the Propylaea. The Coordinating Committee of Athens Students has urged middle and high school students nationwide to participate en masse, both in Athens and in the central squares of major cities.

Meanwhile, the board of the Federation of Secondary Education Teachers (OLME) has called on school teachers to stand in solidarity with students and join the protests.

“To facilitate participation, we are declaring a work stoppage from 11 a.m. until the end of the working hours,” the OLME announcement states.
