Free Parking for Electric Cars in Greece Extended Until 2026

The free parking initiative, which applies to zero or low-emission electric vehicles emitting no more than 50 grams of CO2 per kilometre, will be extended until December 31, 2026.

As announced by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, drivers of electric cars will continue to enjoy free parking in municipal-controlled spaces for another two years in Greece.

The free parking initiative, which applies to zero or low-emission electric vehicles emitting no more than 50 grams of CO2 per kilometre, will be extended until December 31, 2026.

The ministry also stated that electric car owners can obtain the special free parking badge through the official gov.gr website.
