Six of the countries will participate for the first time: Ecuador, Japan, Kosovo, Sub-Saharan Africa Countries, Qatar, and the United Kingdom.
Τhe events on the occasion of the 50th anniversary from the restoration of Democracy in Greece started on Sunday in the presence of Hellenic President of Republic Katerina Sakellaropolou, Athens mayor Haris Doukas and a large number of citizens at the garden of the Presidential Mansion.
“If we ever find a way to create a partnership with the Greeks for the Parthenon Marbles, we must find a way to fund it,” he said.
