In the latest edition of the Henley Global Mobility Report for July 2024, Greece’s passport has secured its position as the 6th most powerful globally, granting its holders visa-free access to 188 countries and territories out of a total of 227.
Emphasising the historical significance of the event, Mitsotakis stated, “On the 50th anniversary since the restoration of Democracy to the country that gave birth to it, I wanted to be in the Parliament, in the place that the dictatorship desecrated for 7 years.”
This initiative will provide ultra-fast internet speeds of up to 1Gbps to over 350,000 households and businesses in semi-urban and rural areas across the country
Speaking with Nadia Schadlow, a member of the Hudson Institute and former US Deputy National Security Advisor, Mitsotakis stressed the need for NATO to adapt and reinvent itself in the face of Russia's ongoing aggression in Ukraine.
