In the latest edition of the Henley Global Mobility Report for July 2024, Greece’s passport has secured its position as the 6th most powerful globally, granting its holders visa-free access to 188 countries and territories out of a total of 227.

The airports welcoming the most tourists this month are Athens International Airport, followed by Heraklion, Rhodes, Corfu, Thessaloniki, Kos, Chania, Zakynthos, Santorini, and Mykonos.

The 6.3% rise in May 2024 is largely driven by an 8.8% increase in the crop output group, particularly due to changes in olive oil prices, and a 0.5% increase in the animal output group.
