More specifically, the expatriate Greeks who have registered on the platform exceed 30,000, a higher number than the Greeks abroad who exercised their right to vote in the 2023 parliamentary elections.
In parallel, the minister met with the Metropolitan of San Francisco Gerasimos with whom she discussed ways the Church could contribute to the information on the postal voste as well as with the president of the US-Greek Council of California Spyros Lazaris with whom she discussed initiatives to enhance the participation in the elections.
Kerameus, who is chairing OECD's Global Strategy Group meeting in Paris, referred to the Greek Diaspora's keen interest in the specific initiative.
