Ο κ. Κοτζαμάνης εξετάζει ειδικότερα τη μελλοντική εξέλιξη των 20-64 ετών (του πληθυσμού εργάσιμης ηλικίας), τις επιπτώσεις της στον πληθυσμό των εργαζομένων και στη σχέση εργαζόμενων προς τους 65 ετών και άνω, οι οποίοι λαμβάνονται ως «εξαρτημένοι» (αν και εαυτό εν μέρει μόνον ισχύει αναφέρει καθώς όλοι οι 65+ δεν είναι -και δεν θα είναι και στο μέλλον- εκτός του κόσμου της εργασίας).
