Taxi drivers who do not comply with the government requirement of posting a stickie informing passengers they accept card payments will be fined 1,000 euros as of Monday.
myDATA electronic books, POS systems everywhere, automatic VAT declarations, and new measures against smuggling have already brought at least €1.2 billion more into state coffers compared to the seven-month period from January to July 2023
Failure to place the sticker on the rear right side of the vehicle will result in a fine of up to 1,000 euros
Starting October 30, taxi drivers who have not affixed a special sticker indicating that they accept card payments and issue receipts will incur a fine of 1,000 euros.
